Break up a large writing project into small pieces and work on the pieces
Writing and analysis for any given paper is often an
iterative process. Writing the results section of a paper is often the best way
to discover the analyses and figures that still need to be done. Sometimes
things would be much more manageable if they were small and focused. Not much
deep thinking has to be endured and we just focus on finding the right word to
make up the sentences. Try to make them
into bits and pieces so you can tackle them separately and still maintain the cohesion of the
original idea. Sections of a paper like an introduction, review of literature,
methodology , analysis and discussion can be dealt with in this manner. Those
sections will be discussed
in detail later on in this writing tips series.
